“Gloomy Fate” (Fate - Harbinger in the Temple of Doom) and (Calamitous - Man vs Fate) is a powerful masterpiece epic poem written by a orphaned and abandoned DeafBlind war survivor (Nigeria vs Secessionist Republic of Biafra 1967-1970) who is 99% self-taught in mainstream primary and secondary schools unaided for 12 years (1970-1982), a bank clerk 1986-1990, poet, author and publisher of 3-8 books who is determined to struggle for 60+ years from infancy to late middle age to wrestle control of his destiny amidst the sheer wreckage of fate, redesign his fate, snatched victory over the inviolable fate itself even when fate seems insurmountable, regained the lost ability to smile and pilot it out of where his personal catastrophe ensue.
Charles Awusin Inko-Tariah aka “The Tragic-Hero” has snatched victory over the marching forces of immensely dreadful all-conquering overwhelming fate - a fate worse than death after 60+ years battle routing the fates even when fate seemed insurmountable. Writing poetry allows him to create melodies that stir the soul and transport the listeners to the cosmogenic realm of gods and heroes (demigods) who lived among us whose divine essence is cloaked in the guise of mortal men. This is the GOLDEN AGE, where myth and reality intertwined and the boundaries between the earthly and celestial blur into poetic infinity. Historical, religious and mythological figures like Romulus of Rome, Biblical Moshe (Moses), Horus of ancient Egypt, Perseus of Ancient Greek, Chandragupta of ancient India, Sargon of Akkad and Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) etc were children of misfortune - either orphaned or abandoned in early childhood who are destined for greatness. “Tragic-Hero Awusin” follows in their footsteps and left an indelible imprint on life’s quicksands are not longer novel.
